Los Angeles at Houston

The Houston Astros have been so bad for so long, it is hard for the odds makers to adjust for the recent changes to this club, and the public perception against them. George Springer has ignited a lineup with his hot bat, and the pitching is much improved over the past three seasons where the Astros dropped 105+ games in each of them. Houston has won eight of their last 10 games and has allowed three or less runs in seven of their last nine. The Angels appeared to finally be playing up to a standard that evryone has expected by going 11-3 over a 14 game stretch, but they have regressed back to the form that has been puzzling over the last few seasons as they are 3-7 in their last 10 while allowing five runs or more in five straight games. Houston is the better team for now, as a home dog. Play on Houston.
