Los Angeles at Houston

Los Angeles has won three of its last four after taking two of three from the Chicago White Sox and then having the day off yesterday. Shohei Ohtani pitched 5 2/3 shutout innings, and Mike Trout hit an RBI double as the Angels won despite only five hits on Wednesday. Houston just finished a grueling nine-game stretch against the Mets and Yankees and could be in position for a letdown here. The Astros have scored more than three runs just once in their last six games. Michael Lorenzen starts for the Angels, and Houston hitters are batting .146 against him in 17 at-bats. Cristian Javier comes off of seven hitless innings against the Yankees, but he threw 115 pitches. Los Angeles has won four of its last five road games. Play the Angels.
