Los Angeles at Baltimore

The losing continues for Baltimore as it went down to its 19th defeat in a row, even while scoring eight runs, and the Orioles look determined to secure the No. 1 draft pick. Los Angeles banged out 19 hits on Tuesday night and took a 13-2 lead at one point, and the Orioles now have allowed at least eight runs in 12 games during the losing streak, losing by at least two runs in all but one. Now they have to face Shohei Ohtani, who is 8-1 with a 2.79 ERA and the Angels have won the past five meetings and they are 10-1 their past 11 games versus teams with .400 or worse winning percentages. Also, the Angels have won 20 of 28 as favorites and the Orioles have lost 44 of their past 62 home games. In addition, Baltimore is 29-64 against AL West teams dating to previous seasons. Look for more of the same tonight and play the Angels as my MLB Game of the Year.
