Kansas City at Toronto

The Toronto Blue Jays have played well enough to take advantage of the stumbling Texas Rangers and now have the lead for the 3rd and final wildcard entry to the AL Playoffs. Toronto took the series opener from Kansas City which unfortunately has left the Royals with the worst record in baseball, as the woeful Oakland A's have now passed them. Toronto is 15-4 in their last 19 games this season when facing an opponent that is under .400. This implies an almost 4-1 ratio of wins vs. losses, and with the game at home where the Jays are 8-2 in this spot, the numbers look even better. The Toronto offense is sizzling as they have scored six or more runs in nine of their last 12 games. I like Toronto in this one.
