Kansas City at Toronto

Johnny Cueto gave up just two runs on two hits in eight innings in his breakthrough game against Houston. The right-hander had been somewhat of a disappointment since being traded to Kansas City from the Reds, but in Game 5 Cueto retired the final 19 batters he faced. Toronto hitters that have faced him are batting just .225 against Cueto with a .701 OPS.  In one appearance against the Blue Jays this season, Cueto allowed three runs and seven hits in six innings at the Rogers Centre. Marcus Stroman did not face the Royals this season, but six Kansas City batters have faced him and they have a combined .874 OPS against him.  Stroman allowed six runs and 11 hits in 13 innings in the ALDS. The Royals have won four in a row and six of their last seven road games, and they're 4-1 in Cueto's last five starts overall. The big comeback in Game 4 against Houston turned the momentum around for Kansas City. Play the Royals.
