Kansas City at Toronto

The Toronto Blue Jays are no longer in contention in the AL East. They have really not taken advantage of their home field where they are just one game over .500 on the season and they have actually been a better team on the road this season. The Royals may look bad on their recent resume but they have played 31 of their last 34 games vs. winning teams, Toronto is marginal in that regard and they won here last night. The Royals have been a winning team behind Luke Hochevar at 14-12 in his 26 starts, much better than their overall record, and that includes 4-0 when he has had five days rest. The Jays recent home slide stands at 1-4 in their last five here. I like Kansas City in this one.
