Kansas City at Seattle

I think the steam is out of this Kansas City team that trails Cleveland by 3.5 games for the final wildcard spot, but also has to catch Texas. The problem is both the teams they are catching have zero games remaining against a winning team. Yordano Ventura has made just one major league start, and this will be his first try on the road, and in the midst of a pennant race, which could be a huge test.  Brandon Maurer is in his second tour in the rotation this season, and pitched well in his previous start, allowing two runs and five hits, through five frames vs. the hard hitting Tigers. The Royals have met an ill fate in their last four here where they have not recorded a win. Play on Seattle.
