Kansas City at Seattle

We were on Seattle last night as they blanked the Royals 0-4 and I like them again tonight. KC is the second worst road team in the league with a 5-24 record. They are scoring 3.2 per game away from home while allowing 6.5 per game. That's a monster 3.3 runs per game difference! Their bullpen is absolutely awful so even if they somehow make it to late innings with a lead, they almost always urrender it. Their pen has a 2-7 road record with a 6.19 ERA. Seattle is average at best but next to the Royals, they look like a great team. Joel Pineiro goes for the Mariners and he's obviously happy to see the Royals against whom he is 3-0 with a 1.57 ERA. Home favorites of -150 or more batting .265 or worse on the season are 181-62 (75%) in the first half of the season over the last 5 seasons. And, home favorites starting a pitcher with an ERA of 4.70 to 5.20 are 45-11 (80%) in June games over the last 5 seasons. Mariners here.
