Kansas City has been a streaky team the past month and now the Royals are on a good run having won six of eight while sweeping the Orioles in the Wild Card Round. The Royals also have been getting exceptional pitching as they have allowed only 1.6 runs their past nine games. Bobby Witt Jr. led the majors with a .332 batting average along with 32 homers, 109 RBIs and 31 stolen bases. Meanwhile, the Yankees have been sitting around for a week and that could hurt their hitters' timing while the Royals have the momentum. Michael Wacha is 13-8 with a 1.19 WHIP and has playoff experience. Wacha had a 2.60 ERA in September allowing eight earned runs in 27 2/3 innings. New York has lost its past four postseason games and Kansas City is 6-0 its past six games after allowing two or fewer runs its previous game.
