The Yankees are facing big totals in just about every game they play. The problem is that their offense has been “homer happy,” but not much else. Freddy Garcia has given the rotation a lift with his 2.88 ERA, and the Yanks have a strong pen to back him up. The Royals are making hay at home, but are just 3-8 on the road. Davies has had success against the AL East, leading to a 10-2-2 mark to the UNDER in his last 14 starts against them. The Bombers’ homer-happy offense is not eclipsing big totals at home from 9-10.5 where they have not topped any in the last eight. Just six of the last 25 between these clubs have topped the total, so I’m playing the UNDER in this one.
