Minnesota needs to win nearly every game in order to catch Cleveland in the AL Central and the Twins won their second in a row on Wednesday 4-0 over the Royals when Gary Sanchez hit a two-run double in a three-run first inning and Kansas City managed only five hits. Dylan Bundy has been inconsistent his entire career and he comes off a bad outing against the Guardians, but the Twins have won seven of his past 12 starts and he has a 3.81 ERA at home compared to 5.28 on the road. Daniel Lynch is 4-10 with a 5.14 ERA and 1.58 WHIP and he has given up 14 runs on 24 hits his last 13 2/3 innings and Kansas City has lost his last three starts. Minnesota has won the last six meetings and the Twins have won eight of nine home games against left-handed starters and the Royals have lost 20 of their past 27 road contests. Take the Twins.
