The two worst teams in the AL Central to start the season have both turned things around and have played better baseball over the last month or so. The Twins are 17-13 in their last 30 games and Francisco Liriano, who has always had good stuff, has begun to show signs of growing confidence as he made five quality starts in his last six while pitching to a 2.41 ERA. The Royals are 10-7 over their last 17 but have dropped the first two in this series. The Twins doubleheader sweep last night gives them 19 wins in their last 26 here vs. the Royals. The achillies heels for Kansas City is facing a lefthander on the road where they are a dismal 18-50 in their last 68. Play on Minnesota.
