Kansas City at Minnesota

Typically bottom dwellers, the Royals are rolling. They are off to their best start in five years. The last time they started this well they had finished the season with winning record. This could be a fluke or it could be a positive sign for the Royals. Either way we see value in backing this 3-0 team as a dog over a team that has lost three straight. Despite their woes, the past three years the Royals have produced positive units for backers as an underdog over that span. John Bale moves from the pen to the mound as a starter. He's opposed by Scott Baker. In four games Minnesota has managed just eight total runs thus far. They are 28-44 against division opponents the past two seasons and 9-17 at home against lefties over that span. Take the dog here.
