Los Angeles managed to get a 9-3 win on Saturday night, but the Angels still are just 5-13 at home and near the bottom in the AL West. Kansas City had its three-game win streak snapped, but the Royals are a half-game out of first in the AL Central with a 24-17 record. Seth Lugo goes today for the Royals and he is 5-1 with a 1.74 ERA and a sparkling 1.01 WHIP. Kansas City has won five of his past seven starts. Patrick Sandoval has a 4.85 ERA and a 1.49 WHIP and he is 0-3 with a .281 opponent batting average at home this season. The Angel bullpen is second-worst in the majors with a 4.97 ERA with only eight saves. Take the Royals.
