The Tampa Bay Rays made it to the World Series last year. But prior to that, they were a very bad team. The one thing they had back in their worst days was one ace who couldn't be touched (Scott Kazmir). No matter how bad the team was, when this guy took the mound, the Rays won. Kansas City now has their ace in Zack Greinke. And this is his breakout year. Gerinke is 6-0 with a ridiculous ERA of 0.40. We simply have to back the Royals with this guy on the mound until he shows he's human. He's just the third pitcher in MLB history to win his first six starts with an ERA below 0.50 (Walter Johnson 1913 and Fernando Valenzuela 1981). He's opposed by lefty Joe Saunders who has been decent. But KC has performed much better against southpaws this season. They are 8-5 against left-handers, scoring 5.4 runs per game. The bullpen difference here is massive. KC's has posted a 3.04 ERA while LA's ERA is 7.19. I'm on Greinke and the Royals here.
