How often do you see a pitcher with an ERA of 135.00? That's what Houston starter Collin McHugh has after a disastrous opener against the Yankees. After a catcher's interference call put Jacoby Ellsbury on to start the game, McHugh completely imploded, loading the bases with consecutive walks when the roof fell in. He's better than that, however, he's still a middle of the rotation starter. Despite winning 19 games last season, he allowed plenty of base runners, including more hits than innings pitched. The Astros are 18-39 against a team with a winning percentage above .600, and into town come the defending champion Royals, off to another fine start.
