Kansas City at Detroit

The Detroit Tigers are in a different place as this team is used to fending off would be playoff busters, but this year their role is reversed. The Tigers have dealt a lot of veterans for prospects as they realize they have to get younger. Cleveland has all but put away the AL Central with an 11-game winning streak, and the Royals are imploding at 3-7 in their last 10 having been shutout in half those 10 games. Offense has been an issue all season for this team, and it is tough to back them right now against anyone. The Tigers, though, are 6-3 in their last nine at home vs. a team that is .500 or less and is in a better spot than they look. Make the play on Detroit.
