Kansas City at Detroit

The Royals appear to be playing better baseball now, but don't lose track of the fact they have played 10 straight games at home. They are just 3-13 in their last 16 on the road. The Tigers have been lethal at home with a 41-24 mark on the season, but facing a left-handed starter takes very good numbers and makes them outstanding. The Tigers are ripping lefties at home to the tune of a 32-13 mark over their last 45 games. They are also 18-5 as a favorite of -151 to -200, so they seldom cough-up games vs. lefties, and especially in this price range. The Royals are also just 1-5 behind Chen in his last six starts as a dog. I'll go with Detroit in this one.
