The Detroit Tigers have started very slow and enter this one at 11-11, despite the majority of their games having been played at home, where they are below .500 at 6-7. The Tigers have fallen victim in 8 of their last 10 games, and are hardly justified here as big chalk. The Tigers’ last 10 games have seen their rotation and suspect bullpen raked for 64 runs or 6.4 per contest. The Royals have a good lineup and they have finally broken out, scoring 23 runs in their last four games leading to three wins. Luke Hochevar has been mostly good for the Royals as he has allowed 2 runs or less in three of his four starts in the early going, and has led the Royals to a 4-1 mark in his last five starts within the division, and he has also lead the Royals to a 5-2 mark in his last starts vs. the Tigers. Play on Kansas City.
