Kansas City at Detroit

One team here is 5-3 while the other is 3-5. I'm backing the 5-3 team at the plus odds. Behind the bats of Billy Butler and Alex Gorden, the Royals have surprised most with their good start. Butler is hitting .444 while Gordon isn't far behind at .378. The Royals bullpen has been very good, producing a 3.28 ERA (1.23 on the road). They go up against Rick Porcello who was tagged for nine hits and 5 earned runs in just five innings pitched in his opener. There's no reason the Royals can't keep the winning going and at +150 I like them here.
