Kansas City at Cleveland

The Cleveland Indians are not going to make it to the playoffs, but they have to like what they have seen from Carlos Carrasco, in particular down the stretch. Carrasco has allowed two runs or less in seven of his last nine starts and enters with a WHIP of 1.08. He will go against Edinson Volquez of the Royals, who has at best been up and down on the season. Volquez has allowed five or more earned runs in three of his last six starts on the season, along with 41 hits in his last 35.2 innings over the same period. Kansas City is on cruise control, and will be finding ways to rest starters, the bullpen, and just getting things set for the playoffs.
