The right-hander has not allowed more than three runs in any of his five appearances this season after giving up just two runs and three hits in seven innings at Philadelphia on Sunday. Kansas City hitters are batting .234 against Salazar, who is 12-6 at home the last three years. Kansas City is 5-8 on the road and 25th in OBP overall in the majors this season.
