Kansas City at Cleveland

The Kansas City Royals are expected to challenge for a playoffs spot this season. After a very poor start, they have rallied to go 6-3 in their last nine games to get back to .500 on the season. Cleveland is 10-11 and has had to come from behind in 6 of their 10 wins, and that is not healthy for their longterm prognosis. The Royals have been winning when they score, and losing when they don't. An oversimplification? Perhaps, but the truth is that they are 10-0 when scoring 4 or more runs, and 0-10 when they score 3 or fewer. Facing a struggling Corey Kluber and his 5.40 ERA to start the season adds promise to a 4+ run game as Kansas City is now 21-8 against a pitcher with a WHIP greater than 1.30. The Tribe lacks in games vs. a left-handed starter at 1-5 in their last six. Take the Royals.
