Kansas City at Cleveland

The Kansas City Royals have pushed over the .500 mark on the strength of five wins in their last six games. Cleveland has been slumping after a strong start winning just three of their last 10 overall. The Tribe pitching has been suspect allowing four or more runs in 12 of their last 17 games. They will go with Zach McAllister today, who has been their best option in the rotation early in the season, but his resume against Kansas City has not been good at all as he owns a 1-2 career mark against them with a 5.60 ERA. The Royals have been strong in series openers where they are 8-2 in their last 10, and behind Guthrie, on grass, they are 32-13 in his last 45 starts. Cleveland has struggled vs. the better teams where they are 9-19 in their last 28 against them. Make the play on Kansas City.
