Cleveland will try to make it two in a row over the Royals and get back to .500 after Bo Naylor hit two homers and drove in three runs in a 5-1 victory on Tuesday night. The Guardians will start Gavin Williams and he has generally given them five or six solid innings and overall and he has allowed 14 runs in 33 2/3 innings this season. Alec Marsh is 0-4 with a 6.20 ERA and Kansas City has lost all four of his starts, including 5-4 to the Yankees on Friday when he gave up five runs in 5 1/3 innings. The Royals are 14-38 on the road as they head toward the worst season in their history and they have lost six of their past seven games while scoring only a total of 19 runs in that span.
