What? Did the Royals actually win yesterday 10-4? I guess it goes to prove the old betting adage that there are certainly no locks. Can lightning strike twice? It could but I wouldn't bet on it. I like Chicago even more today thanks to their weird loss yesterday. KC somehow knocked Jose Contreras around jumping out to a 10-0 lead. Mark Buerhle isn't as good as Contreras this year but I still expect him to have success against a KC team that (outside of yesterday), can't score on the road. Buerhle is 18-2 the last three seasons vs. teams that get outscored by 0.5+ runs per game. And, KC goes back to Odalis Perez who is the guy I wanted to fade yesterday before they changed pitchers. Perez has pitched 11 games (plenty) and has posted a 7.64 ERA. Things should return to normal today and the White Sox advantages in hitting, pitching and bullpen play should lead them to a victory here. Today is a great time to fade KC as they are 2-30 the last two seasons after having won 2 of their last 3 games.
