The Boston Red Sox are in a strong division and at 59-55, they still have an opportunity to make a run. They realize they have to take advantage of a soft schedule that includes four games at home vs Kansas City (currently 2-1), three games at home to Detroit, and three games at Washington. They have a great opportunity to close in on a Wild Card spot. The Royals are a bad team that hardly ever wins on the road (16-43), with just eight wins in their last 38. Boston needs a win to go into this weekend's series vs. the Tigers feeling good. Make the play on the Red Sox.
