Third straight road game for Kansas City, on a long trip, just 2-6 the last eight games. The pitching has not been pretty, allowing 23 runs the last three games (1-2). The Royals aren't getting their money's worth from Johnny Cueto (9-11), 0-4 with a 9.45 ERA in his last four starts. Cueto did not have much luck against Baltimore on Aug. 26th when he was lit up for six runs on eight hits (three homers) and a walk in five innings. He faces a talented Orioles offense that is seventh in runs scored and sixth in slugging. The Orioles are 35-17 at home against a team with a winning road record. Baltimore has strong defense in the field, a strong pen and lefty Wei-Yin Chen (3.48 ERA) starting, with the Orioles 16-7 in his last 23 home starts, making this a great spot for the live home dog.
