The Kansas City Royals have sure lived on the edge of late, and they continue to have the look of a team of destiny. The Royals have won all five of their postseason games, and four of those wins have come in extra frames. This is a team that is now 11-2 in their last 13 games, and the two losses were by 1 and 2 runs. That places the Royals at 12-1 when playing to a would-be +1.5 run line, and there is a reason for that. The KC bullpen had fewer blown saves (12) than any team in baseball except for San Diego, who had much fewer opportunities. They certainly hold a lot of value here on the runline as they have been a hot team that is swinging the bats well, scoring 32 runs in five postseason games, and 69 in their 11-2 run over their last 13 games. Baltimore is just 7-7 in their last 14 games overall, and four of the seven wins have come by just a single run. Take Kansas City on the runline.
