Houston at Washington

Houston was expected to win another championship but they've run into a very talented and balanced Washington team. Houston dropped the first two games at home by a 17-7 count and now heads out on the road where they lose the DH. Yet, they are favored. More bad news for the Astros is that they have to turn to their No. 3 starter in Zack Greinke, who has been awful in the postseason (0-2, 6.43 ERA).  Washington finished sixth in the regular season in runs scored, second in on-base percentage, and seventh in slugging, while the pitching staff can throw out multiple aces. The Nationals go with veteran Anibal Sanchez, who is unbeaten in the playoffs with a sizzling 0.71 ERA. For his career, he has a 2.57 ERA postseason ERA in 56 innings with 60 strikeouts. He pitched in the 2012 World Series. The red-hot Nationals have won eight straight games, and are on a 42-16 run overall, including 38-15 at home.
