Houston at Toronto

Toronto has won six of its past seven games after beating Houston 3-2 on Wednesday when pinch-hitter Alejandro Kirk had a go-ahead single in the seventh. The Astros were held to five hits in their third loss in four games. The Blue Jays have won Jose Berrios' past three starts and he has allowed only two runs on 13 hits in 18 2/3 innings in that span, including a 2-1 victory over the Mets on Saturday. Berrios has been especially tough at home where has a 2.22 ERA and .220 opponent batting average while giving up six runs in 24 1/3 innings. He has faced Houston once this year and allowed two runs on three hits in seven innings. Framber Valdez has also pitched well for the Astros recently following seven shutout innings against the Angels on Friday, but Toronto hitters have a .298 batting average against him in 47 at-bats.
