Houston at Toronto

The Houston Astros are fresh off another poor season, topping off their recent futility with 111 losses. They will have to turn the corner at some point. This season they have a bit more experience as well as some promising developing arms in the rotation that should help them do so. The Astros are working with some negative variance, which could turn positive tonight as they are 0-17 in this series with runners in scoring position, and that simply has to change. Toronto will go with  R.A. Dickey, who after a huge season with the Mets, has failed to live up to expectations since. At 1-1 this season with a 4.63 ERA, the jury is still out. Houston has been 2-2 lifetime against him, where his ERA is 4. The Jays still struggle with inconsistency, and own just a woeful 3-10 mark in their last 13 following a win. Take Houston.
