The Houston Astros were 111 game losers last season, and have not been a very competitive team over the past few seasons. They do have some young arms that are capable of holding them in games. The lineup did a good job yesterday, except in delivering runs. They had many chances, but went 0-14 with runners in scoring position, and that was lethal in the 5-2 loss to the Jays in the opener. Brandon Morrow is a notorious slow starter, and held that negative quality in losing his 2014 debut. Prior to May he is 6-8 with a 4.42 career ERA, and 0-2 a year ago at 5.29. Houston should get some opportunities here, and 0-14 with runners on is huge variance, so look for that to offset itself today. Take the Stros.
