Houston at Texas

Houston is off to a bad start with a 2-5 record although it did take two of three against Toronto, including a no-hitter. Both wins have been shutouts and the Astros averaged only 2.4 runs in the five losses. Texas is 4-2 after defeating Tampa Bay two of three, including by a 4-1 score on Wednesday when they scored three runs in the ninth featuring a two-run single by Josh Smith. The defending World Series champions have scored 35 runs their first six games as they have picked up where they left off last season. Left-hander Cody Bradford will make his second start for Texas after allowing two earned runs on three hits with six strikeouts in five innings against the Chicago Cubs on Saturday as the Rangers won 11-2.
