Houston at Tampa Bay

Houston goes for its third straight win and fifth in its last six games after Alex Bregman hit a walk-off two-run homer to give the Astros a 7-6 victory over Toronto on Wednesday and erasing a 5-0 deficit. The Astros will try to slow down the Rays, who have won five in a row mostly using their "bullpen days" with pitchers going two or three innings. Lance McCullers Jr. is on the mound for Houston and he owns an 8-3 record and the Astros have won his last five starts, including a 4-3 win over Kansas City on Saturday when he allowed three runs on four hits in six innings. The right-hander has 18 strikeouts his last two games in 12 innings pitched. Tampa Bay will go with Ryne Stanek, who is expected to pitch an inning or two. Houston has won 10 of its last 11 against an opponent that allowed two or fewer runs its previous game and the Rays come off a 1-0 win over Washington.
