Houston at Tampa Bay

The Tampa Bay Rays and Houston Astros have both been playing very poorly. The Rays have lost 11 of their last 12 and are just 3-15 in their last 18 games. Houston has turned sour of late as well as the Astros have dropped five of their last six. Something has to give in Tampa tonight, and I like the Rays chances since they will be refreshed by playing on their home field. Houston will go with Collin McHugh, but despite a nice 9-4 record overall, his ERA has been less than stellar at 4.54 on the season. The Rays have gotten excellent work from Erasmo Ramirez who is 7-3 on the season, and at home he carries a 2.58 ERA with a WHIP of less than 1. The Rays have the edge in this one, are playing at home, and wheel out a pitcher that has been a tough out in the home park. Make the play on Tampa Bay.
