Houston at St. Louis

Houston looks to bounce back from Friday's loss with Gerrit Cole on the mound. The Astros still have won seven of their last nine games and are firmly in first place in the AL West with an eight-game lead over Oakland. Cole is 11-5 with a 3.03 ERA and he has allowed more than two runs just once over his last 10 starts and Houston has won eight of them. Cole gave up a run on two hits in an 11-1 win against Oakland on Monday and St. Louis hitters are batting a combined .216 against him, including the recently hot Paul Goldschmidt who is only 2-for-17 against Cole. Daniel Ponce de Leon will make his seventh start for St. Louis and is facing the Astros for the first time. Cole has also won seven consecutive decisions. Take the Astros.
