The good news for the Houston Astros is that after losing 106+ games in each of the last three seasons, they will not reach the century mark in the loss column this season. The bad news is that they are still a bad team at 17 games under .500 for the season. Hisashi Iwakuma has pitched well almost every time out since joining the Seattle rotation, and his reward is a 14-6 record on the season. Iwakuma has been nearly flawless over his last six starts where he is 5-0 with a 3.06 ERA, and he owns an even better 2.56 career ERA vs. the lowly Astros. Seattle sits a half game out of the second Wild Card spot in the AL, and they simply can't afford to let a very winnable game against Houston to slip through their hands tonight. Seattle is now 21-8 in their last 29 when following a loss, and they get back on track tonight. Take Seattle.
