The Seattle Mariners are not much better off than the Houston Astros. The advantage they have is a pair of top-of-the-rotation pitchers in Hernandez and Iwakuma. The Mariners are pretty much on the same level as Houston when you take that pair out of the equation, which is the case today. Houston should get a lift from last night's rare 4-run 9th inning come-from-behind win. Joe Saunders has really been struggling, and has made it out of the 5th inning in just four of his last nine starts, and has just a single win to show for his last six starts. The M's seem to be the team playing out the string, while the Astros should be breathing some life off of last night's win. The Mariners have been no-shows at home vs. an opponent with a road winning percentage of less than .400 where they are now 0-5 in their last five. Go with the road dog.
