Houston at Seattle

Seattle scored three times in the first inning and that was all it needed as it held on and defeated the Astros 3-2 on Monday for its second win in a row and the Mariners stayed UNDER for the fourth time in five games. Houston fell to 10-15 on the road and the Mariners improved to 16-10 at home. Seattle is 8-1 in Luis Castillo's past nine home starts against teams with losing records and the Astros are 0-7 in Hunter Brown's past seven starts following a loss in their previous game. Castillo has not allowed more than two earned runs in any of his past eight starts and the Mariners have won five of his past seven outings. Brown is 1-5 with a hefty 7.06 ERA and a 1.78 WHIP and the Astros have lost three of his past four starts. The UNDER is 5-0-1 in Castillo's past six starts with four days of rest.
