Houston at Seattle

Seattle had a six-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, but the Mariners still are 25-14 at home and have climbed into second place in the AL West.  Seattle has won eight of Ariel Miranda's last 11 home starts, and he comes off an impressive outing against Detroit when he allowed two runs on four hits in seven innings. Miranda has clearly been the better pitcher at Safeco Field where he is 3-1 with a 2.20 ERA this year, and he was 4-0 at home in 2016.  Francis Martes will start in place of Brad Peacock, and Martes has given up four runs in 14 1/3 innings in two starts while getting great run support. The Astros scored 21 runs his last two outings against the Rangers and Athletics. Houston has gone OVER four of its last five following a win, and the Astros are 8-2-1 OVER after giving up two or fewer runs their previous game. Seattle has gone OVER four of its last five after allowing at least five runs. Play the Mariners and the OVER.
