Houston at Seattle

Don't look now but the Houston Astros can claim first place in the AL West, something that hasn't happened for several years. A team which has been horrific for the past several years, is finally arriving with some strong young arms, and a growing competent lineup. Houston will go with Asher Wojciechowski, who showed some nerves in his first MLB start last time out, should settle down and display the stuff that got him here tonight. Hisashi Iwakuma has started slowly allowing 4 earned runs in each of his first two starts, along with 15 hits in 11 innings of work. Seattle has struggled against poor Houston teams holding just a 10-9 series edge each of the past two years, and Houston is a much better team this time around, and getting little respect by the oddsmakers.
