Houston has lost two out of every three road games (5-10) and has southpaw Wandy Rodriguez on the hill. The Pirates love facing lefties at 4-0 in their last four games vs. a left-handed starter. The Astros are 14-41 in their last 55 road games and 3-9 in their last 12 against a team with a losing record. It's the third straight road game for the Astros and they face a Pittsburgh team that has a winning record at home. Newcomer A.J. Burnett has a high ERA for Pittsburgh, but it's deceiving. He's pitched well with a 27-7 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 23+ innings and 27 hits allowed. Burnett sliced and diced the Nationals to the tune of 10 strikeouts and just two earned runs over eight innings Tuesday night in a 5-4 win. He's made four starts, one was awful and the other three he's allowed 2, 0 and 2 runs going 6, 7 and 8 innings. The Astros are 3-7 in the last 10 meetings in Pittsburgh and 2-6 in Rodriguez's last eight road starts at the Pirates. Play the Pirates.
