The Houston Astros have been a lot better thus far in 2012 than the team that lost 106 games a year ago. By the same token, who would have dreamed that the Phillies with Halladay and Lee and more in the rotation would sit parked at the bottom of the NL East? How bad has the hitting been for the Phillies? Despite pitching to a 2.17 ERA, Cliff Lee has yet to record a win, and for that matter neither have the Phillies when he takes the ball. The Phillies have scored 3 runs or less 18 times this season, so trying to cover a +1.5 runline is going to be a tough task. The Phillies are just 8-17 in their last 25 as a home favorite without a line when giving up +1.5 runs, so the value is certainly there. Play on Houston on the runline.
