Houston at Oakland

The Houston bats can sometimes be overwhelming, as they have a deep lineup, and when a few guys get hot it is tough to navigate through it. Speaking of hot, George Springer went 6-6 last night, and Marwin Gonzalez drove in five in a 16-2 route over this same Oakland team. Lance McCullers bested the A's 11-0, allowing two hits in seven innings. Manaea worked five no-hit innings vs. Houston earlier this season, but a wild start to the sixth and the A's poor bullpen ended up yielding 10 runs to Houston in a loss. The Astros have their hitting shoes on right now, and McCullers was a mystery to the A's last time out. Back Houston.
