Houston at Oakland

Oakland has won five of six and it is actually .500 at home this season even though the Athletics still are in last place in the AL West. They beat the Astros 8-2 on Tuesday with five home runs, including one by Lawrence Butler, who fell a single short of a cycle. The Athletics have JP Sears going today and they have won his past four starts while he has allowed only six runs in 22 1/3 innings while striking out 24 batters. Sears has given up just two runs on seven hits in 11 runs innings against the Astros this season. Houston has lost five of seven and it is 57-40 UNDER and Oakland is 53-47 UNDER this year. The Astros are 0-7 in Hunter Brown's past seven starts in Game 3 of a series and 1-7 overall when he starts with four days rest.
