Houston at Oakland

The Oakland A's are projecting themselves to the worst record in baseball history at 25-71 on the season. They have shown improvement as they are 15-20 over their last 35 games and come into this one having won two-straight contests. Houston has been chasing the Texas Rangers in the AL West all season and has now slipped to 4.5 games out. Houston is not playing well as they have a losing record over their last nine games as the offense has gone cold. The Astros have scored three or fewer runs in the majority of those nine games. They have been just 6-6 in the 12 games started by PJ France. I think there is an opportunity for the A's to feel good off a pair of wins to steal one here. Make the play on Oakland.
