The Oakland A's were sailing along smoothly, but have entered some rocky waters of late as they are just 4-9 over their last 13 games. They are getting close to the bottom, having lost two straight at home to the lowly Astros. Houston is playing loose and free, and now has some confidence off of two straight wins here on the West Coast, and look for the sweep this afternoon. Erik Bedard has been serviceable for Houston and has put together a pair of good starts. The pressure is mounting for this young A's team for the first time all season, and they have responded poorly. The A's are losers of five straight with a total of 7 to 8.5, have not been able to get the big hit, and have really fallen apart at home with just one win in their last seven here. I like Houston again this afternoon.
