Houston at New York

Houston has taken command of the series after Alex Bregman's three-run third-inning homer was enough to give the Astros a 2-0 lead in the ALCS and their strong pitching continued from the starters and the bullpen. Now they face Gerrit Cole in Game Three and he has allowed three runs on 10 hits in 13 1/3 innings in the postseason. Houston will counter with Cristian Javier, who had a 0.40 ERA in September while allowing only one earned run in 22 1/3 innings with a .110 opponent batting average. Javier made two appearances against New York this year and gave up a run on two hits in 12 innings. Cole faced the Astros once and allowed a run in seven innings. Houston's bullpen has a 0.71 ERA and 0.75 WHIP in this year's playoffs and the Astros were 46-36 on the run line in road games. The Yankees have lost 18 of their past 24 ALCS games, but take the Astros on the run line as my Playoff Game of the Year.
