The Astros are looking for payback after losing three of four to New York earlier this month, and they have the perfect pitcher on the mound in Justin Verlander, who has been nothing short of sensational with a current ERA of 1.08. Verlander faced the Yankees on May 1 and did not allow a run on three hits in eight innings, and he comes off a 4-1 win over San Francisco on Wednesday when he pitched only six innings and threw 97 pitches with nine strikeouts. Domingo German will make his fourth start, and his last two haven't gone so well as he has given up 12 runs on 10 hits in 8 2/3 innings while issuing six walks. German has allowed 12 runs on 15 hits in 18 1/3 innings at Yankee Stadium this season. Houston has won 14 of its last 19 road games and eight of its last 11 overall. Play the Astros.
